Ventilation
All types of the dome rooflights can be supplied as ventilation rooflights. The ventilation (opening) design involves a ventilation frame (from solid PVC section for smaller dimensions, from Al section with a plastic cover for larger dimensions; for round rooflights, glass laminate frames are used); the dome, stainless hinges and the opening mechanism are fastened on the frame.
Depending on the opening mechanism, rooflight ventilation is classified as follows:

A 3000/man – manual ventilation
Opening mechanism for manual opening – brass helix (manual opener) with a lift of 300 mm; for easy handling of the opening mechanism, mounting handles are supplied in a length of 1–3 m. The handle length is chosen depending on the height from the floor to the rooflight.

ARTUS - A 3000/el – electric ventilation
The opening mechanism for manual opening – electric motor 230 V/50 Hz with a lift of 300 mm makes it possible to open the rooflight by means of the ventilation button. A wind and rain sensor can also be attached that will close the rooflight in bad weather.

ARTUS - A 3000/vy – exit to the roof
Rooflights with ventilation can easily be combined with an exit to the roof in two alternatives that prevent the dome from tipping over on the roof – with chains or mechanical pistons. Both alternatives are supplied with a bar handle for easy opening and closing and a mechanism for disconnecting the opening mechanism. The rooflight can also be supplied only as an exit without the possibility of ventilation; in this case, the exit is supplemented with a mechanical lock that secures the dome against spontaneous opening.
Protection against burglary
The opening below the dome can be secured with a massive steel guard bar mounted prior to the rooflight installation under the sleeve, or inserted directly into the sleeve of the rooflight.
